The Bartlett Family Adventure

The Bartlett Family Adventure is all about the moments that take my breath away as I grow in the glory of God, and live my life to the best of my ability while raising two rowdy boys. This blog is not just about me, it also includes stories of my family's daily adventures. We home school our boys, are trying to grow our fruits and vegetables, we are all on a journey to God, we are trying to live sustainably, and most importantly love the life we lead. Sometimes we stumble, but mostly I like to think we prevail. I am blogging to keep a sort of shared journal. Our life may be messy but it is perfect.

12 April 2012 Garden Update

Today my husband went out and did a video of our garden. He does a great job telling you what everything is and how they are doing and even what the future holds as he does a walk through. I hope you enjoy our garden.



I hope that you are encouraged to grow some food in your garden because if we can do it so can you. Plus it is really nice to be able to step in the garden for a bit of rosemary and thyme as a recipe calls for it. Talk about fresh.
I get excited when my husband brings me a bouquet of carrots.

I am not the only one who loves fresh carrots.

    I really liked the video. Nice job! You guys are growing so many wonderful things (and lots I have never heard of!). I love your backyard!

    Thanks, I really love our backyard too. My husband really likes to find trees and plants that are easy to take care of, edible, and will survive in this climate. Which means in a couple of years I will have to learn to cook with everything.
