The Bartlett Family Adventure

The Bartlett Family Adventure is all about the moments that take my breath away as I grow in the glory of God, and live my life to the best of my ability while raising two rowdy boys. This blog is not just about me, it also includes stories of my family's daily adventures. We home school our boys, are trying to grow our fruits and vegetables, we are all on a journey to God, we are trying to live sustainably, and most importantly love the life we lead. Sometimes we stumble, but mostly I like to think we prevail. I am blogging to keep a sort of shared journal. Our life may be messy but it is perfect.

School daze

Here are some new pictures from a school day at our house.

James does school work on the floor or the table or anywhere I can get him to do school.

Damian is so good (most of the time) at following directions and being self driven. I am so proud of him.

I love his hands

James and I struggle with school the most.

He is four and wants to be busy.

He does not like an audience. He likes quiet one on one time when he is learning.
With a big brother who likes to be with other people while he works.

This is hard work for both of us.

Sometimes Damian and I will do our own school work together at the table.

I hope your day is filled with love and laughter. Be well my friends.

  1. But you are figuring out their learning styles and what works best for each of them, not forcing them to learn one way only. That is definitely a win, my friend! You are doing so great with both of them!
